Signing cooperation agreement with MD Vietnam Consumer Electric Appliance Company Limited
On January 22nd, 2021, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a cooperation agreement with MD Vietnam Consumer Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (Midea). According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out mutual cooperative activities such as career apprenticeships, skill training courses, recruitment, equipment sponsorship in order to maximize the potentials and strengths of each side.
Representing TDTU, there was Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Director of Center for Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni; Dr. Dong Sy Thien Chau, Dean of Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan, Vice President of Ton Duc Thang Vocational Training School; together with lecturers from TDTU.
On behalf of Midea, attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Lieu Trieu Van, Deputy General Director of Midea; and Mr. Trang Hoang Hau, Product Manager of Midea Air-conditioner.
Dr. Vo Hoang Duy and Mr. Lieu Trieu Van signed the cooperation agreement.
Under the agreement, the two sides will carry out cooperation programs in career orientation, training as well as prioritizing the recruitment of graduates at TDTU. The cooperation with Midea will create favorable conditions for TDTU students and Midea employees to take part in skill training courses for future career development.
Midea presented Ton Duc Thang Vocational Training School with five air conditioner models and App Link - Error Code Troubleshooting.
Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan and Mr. Lieu Trieu Van signed the training program.
Right after the ceremony, 50 TDTU students and 150 technical employees from Southern Maintenance Depots joined in the training program “Air Conditioner Installation and Troubleshooting” which provided an opportunity for students of refrigeration and air conditioning engineering to accumulate experience from experienced technical staff
