The cooperation signing ceremony between the Faculty of Pharmacy and AIKYA Group

On November 25, 2021, the Faculty of Pharmacy - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and AIKYA Group signed a memorandum of understanding.

Representatives from AIKYA Group included Mr. Nguyen Dac Hai - Deputy General Director, Mr. Dinh Anh Hao - Deputy General Director, General Director of Mebiphar Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Joint Stock Company, Mr. Le Thanh Tung – Sales Manager, Mr. Phan Van Hai – Human Resources Manager, Mr. Nguyen Le Phuong – Marketing Manager, Mr. Vo Le Ngoc Chau – Head of R&D Department, and Ms. Cao Mong Ngan – Head of R&D Department of Mebiphar Company.

Representatives from TDTU included Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc – Member of the University Council, former Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Nguyen Truong Huy – In charge of the Faculty, Mr. Tang Khac Quy - Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni of TDTU and lecturers of the Faculty.

According to the agreement, both sides will cooperate in the field of training and scientific research, including the following contents:

• Creating opportunities for TDTU’s students to experience production at the enterprise, giving priority to recruiting human resources at TDTU.
• Cooperating in research and development of pharmaceutical products, especially natural products.
• Granting scholarships to students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and sponsoring academic activities of the faculty.

AIKYA Group was established in 2016 and has participated in many large pharmaceutical projects in Vietnam and abroad. Currently, the Group owns three pharmaceutical companies including TV. Pharma, Mebiphar and S. Pharm. Currently, it is having a project to build the TV Pharm high-tech pharmaceutical industrial cluster that started construction from 2020 in Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province with a total investment of 650 billion VND. In addition, the Group also invested in building the AIKYA herbal medicine area to create a supply of herbal ingredients for the production of drugs and functional foods on an industrial scale.
