TDTC Students Win 02 Consolation Prizes at Vietnamese Student Informatics Olympiad 2020

The Vietnamese Student Informatics Olympiad (IOI) is the most prestigious national computer science competition in Vietnam. And International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is  the most prestigious algorithmic programming contest for college students. Both of them have always attracted the attention of students majoring information technology from many universities, colleges, and institutes across Vietnam.

This year, from December 7 to December 11, 2020, the 29th IOI 2020, along with the ICPC, was held at Can Tho University with the participation of 498 representatives from 71 universities, colleges and institutes.

The competitions provided students majoring Computer Programming of Ton Duc Thang College (TDTC) opportunities to demonstrate, accumulate knowledge and interact with friends in Vietnam and in the world. This is the first time TDTC’s Computer Programming has sent 03 representatives who won 02 consolation prizes for IT Specialist Devision and Non-IT Specialist Devision.

The achievements at the Student Informatics Olympics this time have resulted from the considerable efforts of TDTC lecturers and students,  especially the combination of theory and practice, thereby facilitating their access to advanced knowledge and skills of Information and Communications Technology in region and in the world.
