Voluntary blood donation – A beautiful gesture

Every blood drive taking place at Ton Duc Thang College is held with a fundamental principle: give blood, save lives. Voluntary blood donation is  a noble gesture. Each drop of blood can not only save needy patients but also spread a positive message of love and compassion in the society

With the desire to share, to help people suffering severe health problems, and to improve public health, staffs and students of Ton Duc Thang College have actively participated in the blood donation campaign organized by Ward 19, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, especially in recent years.

In addition to extracurricular activities such as music, sports, Green Summer campaign, ... blood donation is also a way to foster community spirit among students. On the morning of May 6th, 2019, more than 120 students from various majors of Ton Duc Thang College took part in the annual blood drive.

Blood donation is considered an act of kindness, a gesture of love for our fellow human beings, as well as a social responsibility. It is a big movement of society representing our national tradition “Do as you would be done by.” The Voluntary Blood Donation Program has saved many people’s lives and it will continue to do so, one drop at a time.
