“Sharing the Same Heart” – Mid-Autumn Festival 2018

Every year, on the 15^th day of the 8^th month of the lunar calendar, children usually  celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with traditional 5-pointed star shaped lanterns and eat traditional specialties. However, this festival is not held because of tough economic conditions in some provinces. To show a spirit of solidarity, the Youth Union of Ton Duc Thang College held the program “Sharing the Same Heart” donated from our students and  sponsors to give gifts and performance as well as to carry lanterns with the children in poor communes in Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province. During the program, children seemed to live in the legend with a man named Chu Cuoi and his wife Chi Hang Nga, happily receiving gifts and participating in the lantern parade together.
