Hospitality management students pay a visit to Shri restaurant

        Located on the roof-top of Centec Tower, Shri Restaurant (the word Shri means to be surrounded by light in Sanskrit) has one of the most stunning views in the city. You will be captivated by the color and taste of the delicate, delicious and imaginative dishes; the comfortable atmosphere of the lounge bar, the gentle lights, the little candles on the table; the hospitality and the professional service.

        It is necessary that hospitality management students understand what the working process in a prestigious restaurant looks like. On November 19th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, 2018, the hospitality management arranged students of the college course 176, Ton Duc Thang University to visit Shri for practice. Here the students were welcomed warmly. The management board spent time to exchange and guide students to visit the sections of the restaurant including the terrace, glasshouse, dining room, VIP room, bar and lounge, as well as share the valuable working experiences. Mr. Thomas, the general manager,  with many years’ experience in the hospitality industry, shared that service and hospitality are two important factors that bring the best quality service, leading to success.

        The visit is not long, but enough for the students to have the opportunity to learn, accumulate more practical knowledge and valuable experience for themselves. They realize that they need to try harder, improve their professional knowledge, skills and foreign languages to have more opportunities to work in  leading hotels and restaurants in the future.
